Parks & Nature

Green spaces, open places.

At the heart of the community, Élan’s central Parc Réunis offers incredible, imaginative wood-built playgrounds designed to offer physical challenge and beneficial play. Park benches and picnic tables empower people to linger and enjoy being out in the community under the shade of the pergolas. Sports courts and outdoor exercise equipment give adults more to do while kids run around and play. And on hotter summer days, venture over to Four Seasons Park and take in an afternoon at the splash park.

Playground

Parc Réunis' unique rubber surface playground is a haven for kids of all ages. They'll love the swings, the challenging climbing ropes and logs, and the variety of playground equipment that encourages active play. With picnic seating close by, parents can relax and socialize while their little ones explore and let their imaginations run wild.

Hilltop Tree

Élan's hilltop tree will grow to be a central feature of Parc Réunis. This tree is encircled by a charming bench, providing tranquil seating to relax under the future shade of the canopy. From this vantage point, residents look out onto the vibrant playground, sports courts, and other park activities, offering both a peaceful retreat and a perfect view of community life.

Basketball Court

Perfect for residents of all ages to enjoy, basketball courts provide an easy to pick-up-and-play opportunity for connection. Shaded picnic bench seating to the east provides a comfortable area for spectators and players to relax, with tiered rock formations offering more casual seating along the hill. Whatever your preference, you'll be able to find the perfect spot to watch games, socialize, or simply enjoy the park's vibrant atmosphere.

Naturalized Ponds

Within Elan's Parc Réunis, the naturalized ponds are surrounded by dense plantings that support the local ecosystem. Picnic tables and bench seating are thoughtfully placed throughout the area, providing spots to relax and enjoy the serene water views. These areas offer perfect vantage points for leisurely picnics, quiet reflection, and appreciating the natural beauty of the ponds and their surroundings.

Central Tower

A dramatic three-story wooden playground tower by Earthscape anchors the multiple walking trails of Parc Réunis, which branch out in three directions: towards the future urban village, the naturalized ponds to the north, and along a double-tree lined trail toward the main park area by the community's entrance.

Free Park Wi-Fi

More ways to connect than ever before.

In collaboration with Telus, Parc Réunis offers neighbours and newcomers alike free community Wi-Fi. This partnership ensures that visitors can stay connected while enjoying the park's various amenities. Whether you're working from a picnic table, streaming music, or simply looking up the next reservation time at Chartier, Elan's parks have never been more convenient and enjoyable for everyone.

Whether you're skating or tobogganing, Parc Réunis transforms into a winter wonderland, perfect for making the most of the season.

A Community Connected

What's outside counts, too.

With an atypically large number of homes either porch-fronting treed streetscapes or backing onto amenity spaces like Parc Réunis' linear trail system, rarely have communities integrated each home into the community around itself as consistently as Elan. These opportunities to experience and spend time within the neighbourhood rather than behind a front door - even from the comfort of a deck or porch - increases the opportunities for positive 'collision' between residents and gives neighbours a chance to put names to faces.
